Welcome to Meete (the “Software” or “App”), which is developed and operated by Starpool Data Limited (“we” or “us”). We offer the Software and related services (the “Service”) to you, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.
Your visiting our Software IS CONDITIONED ON YOUR ACCEPTANCE AND COMPLIANCE WITH THESE CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE AND EXPLOITATION STANDARDS (these “Terms”).
These Terms applies to all users of the Software. Please read these Terms carefully before accessing or using our Software. If you do not agree with these Terms, please stop accessing or using our Software immediately.
We are committed to creating a safe online environment for children, protecting children from harm and preventing the dissemination of harmful content that normalizes violence against children. We have zero tolerance for any forms of child sexual abuse and exploitation (“CSAE”).
2.1 Child/ Minor: We use the terms child and minor interchangeably in any of our Terms and define them as any person under the age of 18 or the statutory minimum age for minors according to the local law and regulation.
2.2 Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Any material that depicts, promotes, or glorifies sexual exploitation of children, including but not limited to images, videos, text, or content generated by computers (including generative artificial intelligence). Regardless of the intent, anyone viewing, sharing, linking, or engaging with any kind of child sexual abuse material contributes to the re-victimization of the depicted child and puts child at an extreme risk of being harmed. This also applies to any content that may further contribute to victimization of child through the promotion or glorification of child sexual abuse.
3.1 Don’t post or share content on the Software if it fits any of the descriptions below. This includes, but is not limited to, directly or indirectly sharing, requesting, linking to, engaging with (such as liking or reposting, or following accounts that distribute), or expressing a desire for such content (“Prohibited Content”):
Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including any screenshot or any clip from the original material even if it does not show nudity or sexual activity;
Grooming behavior, including when someone becomes friendly or otherwise builds a trusting relationship with a child for the purpose of sexual abuse or exploitation;
Sextortion, including a threat to share or requesting that others share nude, intimate, or sexually explicit content of minors without consent, usually to get money, sexual acts, or more nude, intimate, or sexually explicit content;
Sexual harassment, including making statements about intimate body parts or sexual performance, or sharing or threatening to share information about a person’s sexual life (such as sexual history or partners, or sexual orientation);l
Sexual solicitation, including inviting a child to engage in a sexual act, go off-platform, or share sexually explicit images (even if invited by another child);
Showing or promoting physical abuse, neglect, endangerment, or psychological abuse of children;
Identifying alleged victims of child sexual abuse by name or image;
Recruiting, advertising or expressing an interest in a commercial sex act involving a child, or in harboring and/or transporting a child for sexual purposes; and
Revictimizing children who have experienced abuse or exploitation, including through third-party reshares.
Discussions on child exploitation that do not glorify the act or identify victims;
Victims sharing their experiences without explicit details;
when the content is being shared to identify the child in order to rescue them from the abusive situation, or identify the perpetrator; and
Educational and documentary content related to the harms of child sexual abuse or exploitation (as long as it does not show or graphically describe such content).
4.1 You can report violations by contacting our CSAM prevention officer, Chen, the person responsible for handling the violations, at the email address displayed below. Reports can be made anonymously, and no account is required to submit a report. Please note that engaging with content that violates these Terms may be illegal. Please be sure to report the content right away and do not like, reply to, quote-post, screenshot, follow accounts that distribute, or otherwise engage with the content.
4.2 If immediate danger is suspected, you should contact your local emergency services to prevent incidents of child endangerment.
We prioritize child safety with utmost seriousness and are committed to complying with applicable child safety laws and regulations. We identify and monitor Prohibited Content through automated monitoring technology, manual reviews, and user-submitted reports. We will take the following measures against Prohibited Content and violations:
Immediate Removal: Prohibited Content will be promptly removed. If we can’t verify that content you post is safe, we may remove it in our total discretion.
User Suspension: Accounts that consistently post or share Prohibited Content may be permanently suspended.
Reporting to Authorities: We will report severe violations, including child sexual exploitation content, to the appropriate law enforcement agencies, such as the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
Users who believe that the measures we have taken are in error (for example, the user’s content has been mistakenly removed) can submit an appeal to us by email at meeteapp@outlook.com.
